Summary:
The Wellness Center Coordinator manages and administers policies and programs to promote physical and mental health to clients.
Planning, directing, organizing, and managing the Wellness Center facilities management functions is essential.
Supervises the fitness activities of the center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
1.
Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, continuous quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
2.
Maintains departmental reports and records and collects statistical data for administrative and regulatory purposes.
3.
Allocates budgeted funds within the budget limit to accomplish objectives.
Monitors variance against budget on an ongoing basis.
4.
Assures the physical environment of the facility is safe, clean, attractive, and cheerful, with functioning equipment, available supplies, and quick repairs when needed.
Assists with care and maintenance of equipment as needed.
5.
Assures ability, quickness, and knowledge to respond to emergency and unusual situations.
6.
Receives, greets, and directs members, visitors, and hospital personnel as necessary.
7.
Orients new members/new employees to facility policies and procedures.
8.
Orients members to equipment/pool and safety standards in using equipment/pool.
9.
Responsible for membership fees and class fees.
Keeps accounting records of such as required.
10.
Administer fitness testing, exercise prescription, dietary education, and monitoring as needed for individual members and interested community groups.
11.
Assures accuracy in collecting and recording test data.
12.
Schedules fitness programs and oversees or leads the exercise programs.
Assures variety of classes and programs.
13.
Trains new staff members.
Schedules staff and orients to policies and procedures of facility.
Assures that there is always adequate and qualified staff.
14.
Assures that staff are prompt and professional when greeting members and carrying out other assigned responsibilities.
15.
Develops standards of performance, evaluates performance, and initiates or makes recommendation for personnel actions.
16.
Develops employee health activities and encourages employee participation.
Assures variety of activities and programs.
17.
Requisitions supplies and equipment, maintenance, and repair services, and prepares related forms.
18.
Performs Restorative Aide duties regularly for patients on the Oakview wing of OCHC.
Primarily addressing range-of-motion and mobility issues.
19.
Completes any other duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
